UK-based Winch Design has completed the end-to-end refurbishment of a Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft on behalf of an undisclosed customer.

As the company explained in a statement, the client brief was to take the dated original aircraft cabin, which was 10 years old, and create a bright and characterful space, personal to the client.

The central focus of the new interior is a large art feature wall commissioned as original artwork and painted directly onto the aircraft bulkhead, using fully certified materials.

The bold colors and abstract detail provide an arresting focus to the aft Owner’s Lounge upon entering the cabin.

According to the statement, drawing individual colors from the art piece, the interior then combines a mix of subtle geometry in the custom tufted carpet and embossed stitched leather bulkheads. In addition, the seats are completely re-styled using high-quality leather to introduce a distinctly fresh and lighter feel to the cabin.

Bombardier UK was responsible for the interior installation and maintenance carried out with all interior cabin refurbishment by AeroVisto in Switzerland.
