Servy expands into Canada

By Jane Hobson

The service is offered in English and French, marking it the first multilingual Grab Airport Marketplace launching this year

Servy, the enterprise self-service platform for hospitality, has launched its first airport program in Canada at Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL). The partnership sees the launch of mobile ordering via the Grab Airport Marketplace and marks Servy’s entry into 13 countries, spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The platform, which launched this month, is present in nine restaurants across the airport, including Archibald Microbrasserie, UBar and Pork & Pickle. In the longer term, it is expected that 40 stores within the airport will be a part of the lineup.

The Grab Airport Marketplace gives travelers the option to order food and beverages from their own device, making the airport experience safer and more convenient by reducing touchpoints.

As air travel restrictions continue to be lifted and passengers take to the skies, there is an increased demand for convenience and safety at the airport, both of which are provided via the Servy platform.

The program is offered in both English and French, making it the first multilingual Grab Airport Marketplace launching this year.

"We are excited to be expanding into a new region, providing safer ordering options and convenience to more travelers and airport employees," said Jeff Livney, Chief Experience Officer at Servy. "We see the Marketplace as an essential tool for passengers as travel continues to resume, and we’d like to thank YUL Airport for their partnership in order to bring this service to Canada."

"We are continuing to do all we can to ensure our airport is a safe and reassuring environment, and our partnership with Servy is an important element in a comprehensive suite of measures," said Sébastien Duteau, Marketing and Commercial Director at ADM Aéroports de Montréal at YUL. "Once travelers begin to return, we’ll be prepared to welcome guests and offer service in a format that works best for them in changed circumstances. We’re looking forward to rolling out the platform across the airport in the future, creating an even more seamless travel experience here at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport."
