Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced today the expansion of its partnership with Canyon Ranch to the airline’s new, nonstop route from Seattle to Singapore launching this September.

The two companies will bring wellness-focused meals, in-seat stretching and exercise tutorials, and research-backed sleep strategies to the new ultra-long-haul flights. Dining options from SIA’s International Culinary Panel and other choices will also be available, according to a press release from the airline.

Antony McNeil, SIA’s director of food and beverage, noted: “The 15-hour flight from Seattle to Singapore will be among the longest in our network, so the wellness-focused menus and recommendations from Canyon Ranch are particularly important in ensuring travelers arrive feeling refreshed."

David Varley, Vice President of Food and Beverage at Canyon Ranch, also commented. “We are excited to share Canyon Ranch’s conscious plant-forward culinary excellence with passengers on Singapore Airlines’ Seattle to Singapore route. We’ve developed healthy, nutritious, satisfying dishes specifically designed with our vision of optimal nutrition to help fuel their journey."

The nonstop Seattle-Singapore will launch on September 3, 2019, initially operating three times per week before increasing to four times per week in October. The airline's A350-900 aircraft will be fitted with 42 Business Class, 24 Premium Economy Class and 187 Economy Class seats.

In the U.S., Singapore Airlines also services Houston, Los Angeles, New York (JFK and Newark) and San Francisco.
