A peek at Oman Air's MCT premium lounge

Billed as a "pre-flight oasis of calm," Oman Air's new premium class lounge at Muscat International Airport (MCT) is open and ready to offer First Class and Business Class passengers a relaxing way to prepare for their journey.

Designed with the pristine, natural beauty of Oman's landscape in mind and featuring mashrabiya, a traditional projecting bay window covered in wooden latticework, the two-story lounge includes dining areas and bars; luggage, smoking, entertainment and prayer rooms; an area for children and baby changing facilities; a business center; shower facilities; and nap and wellness areas.

There is also a designated area for First Class guests which has a 100-person capacity and covers more than 429 square meters. In this area, guests can enjoy a personal chef, relaxation rooms and limousine service to their aircraft. The lounge's Business Class area boasts more than 2,300 square meters and can serve up to 516 people.

Oman Air's arrival lounge, located in the mezzanine floor in the arrival side of MCT, provides an additional communal space for guests, featuring semi-public spaces filled with tranquil design and decor. The area can comfortably seat 90 premium passengers and allows a space for weary travelers to freshen or fuel up following a short flight.
