Diskomat and Wexiödisk see strong engagement for Automatic Cutlery Sorter at WTCE 2026

Diskomat and Wexiödisk are reporting another successful return to WTCE last month, marking their 12th year at the event, with the Automatic Cutlery Sorter once again drawing strong interest at booth 1G10.
The companies showcased the ACS400HC machine as demand continues to grow for automated cutlery handling, driven by airlines moving away from disposable cutlery—even in Economy—and seeking more efficient onboard and catering processes.
Tomas Jämtander, Marketing Director, Flight Catering Solutions at Diskomat, tells PAX International the quality of engagement stood out this year.

The ACS400HC, which can sort up to 5,000 pieces of cutlery per hour and handle up to 30 airline configurations, remained a key talking point for efficiency and ergonomics.
Also on display was Wexiödisk’s WD-18CW cart washer, highlighting low-water, low-energy cleaning technology for airline catering operations.
