Glass-based tableware from Plane Talking Products brings elegance to the cabin

By Jane Hobson

Plane Talking Products Ltd. has unveiled to PAX International this week its range of glass-based tableware. The elegant tableware is made of triple layer glass, making it very strong, break- and chip-resistant, as well as extremely lightweight. It’s thin wall structure makes it "superstackable," to save space in the aircraft. It is an alternative to airline bone china or porcelain.

  • One of a kind strength – the product is made of durable Vitrelle glass, resistant to breakage, chipping, scratches and staining
  • Eco-friendly and sustainable – manufactured using up to 80 percent recycled glass and glass remains, a fully sustainable reusable and recyclable substrate
  • Fully customizable – the product is printable and shapes can be developed
  • Commercially compliant – the nonporous and versatile dinnerware is dishwasher safe and can be used in all microwaves and ovens
