dnata confirms CEO transition

dnata has appointed Nabil Sultan as Chief Executive Officer, the company confirms directly to PAX International today. Effective June 15, Sultan succeeds Steve Allen, who steps down after five years in the role.
In the role, Sultan leads all dnata businesses worldwide, overseeing ground handling, cargo, travel, catering and retail across 162 cities in 37 countries.
Sultan brings more than 35 years of global aviation experience, having built his career within the Emirates Group through a succession of senior executive roles. Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Vice President of Passenger Sales and Country Management where he oversaw the strategic direction of the Emirates airline’s corporate and leisure business and led commercial operations across its global network.
Previously, he spent a decade as Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates SkyCargo, driving the airline’s global expansion.
