Deutsche Aircraft is announcing the appointment of Hendrik Brand as the new CFO for the Deutsche Aircraft Group companies in Munich.

In his new role, Brand will oversee and manage the Finance and IT organization of the group, collaborating closely with all internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the company’s growth and progress.

Before joining Deutsche Aircraft, Brand served as the Group CFO for Satair, a distributor of aviation spare parts, and as the CFO for EFW in Dresden, an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

“Deutsche Aircraft has the proven product to accelerate the transition on a realistic timeline to more sustainable regional flights,” said Dave Jackson, Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Aircraft, in a May 12 press release. “Our business case, including the respective positioning of the After-Market business, where Hendrik brings a long experience will be crucial for the long-term development of the company and gaining the trust of our shareholders.”

With 20 years of international aviation experience under his belt, Brand has spent the last 12 years personally involved with start-up companies, and is excited to collaborate in the cultivation of Deutsche Aircraft’s culture.

“I very much like to be part of a company to build something new and grow our business in the aviation industry,” said Brand in the same press release. “Timing is of the essence and having the right people on board will finally make the difference for our success. I personally hope that we can continue to deliver according to our promises and keep the mindset open to reflect market dynamics and expectations.”
