New CEO at Intervine
Intervine Inc. announced recently that Ed Matovcik, who has led the company for the past 11.5 years, has decided to step down as President and CEO.
“Through Ed’s leadership, Intervine has become one of the world’s largest and most well-respected wine management companies for the travel industry,” said a release from the Napa, California company.
Jonjie Lockman will succeed Matovcik as CEO and join the company’s Board of Directors. She has been a senior leader at Intervine since 2011, serving in multiple roles including CFO and most recently COO.
Matovcik will support the transition and continue to serve on Intervine’s Board of Directors.
“We are extremely grateful for Ed’s leadership in propelling Intervine to record growth,” said Intervine Board Chairman Sandra Pineau-Boddison. “He built an industry-leading team and prepared for a succession that will enable Intervine to continue to provide outstanding service to our strategic partners and valued customers.”
