The February 11 press release said both companies are committed to uniting their expertise and leveraging complementary strengths to build a unique approach to brand and guest experience curation while consolidating their brand portfolio. Together, they will invest in creating tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of travellers and airlines.

As part of the gategroup portfolio, deSter’s reach extends beyond inflight services, providing relevant brands with access to integrated solutions that enhance the overall traveller experience. This strategic alliance represents a step forward in elevating passenger experiences and expanding the potential for brand engagement.

“Passengers increasingly desire to travel in comfort and choose airlines that align with their expectations, including the brands they partner with. Our partnership with Nexūs will enable us to create even more value for our customers and further strengthen this growing part of our business,” said Stef Van de Perre, President and Managing Director, deSter.

Yves Alavo, Founder & Principal, Nexūs, also commented: “We see a strong shift in travellers’ behaviour for stronger interest in brand equity, relevance and sustainable engagement.
