Air India has introduced a restaurant-style dining experience in Business Class on select long-haul and ultra-long-haul international flights, featuring individually plated courses, bespoke tableware and enhanced onboard service.

Launched on routes between India and the United Kingdom, including London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Birmingham, the service will progressively expand across the airline's A350, 787-9 and 777-300 aircraft.

The new dining format replaces traditional tray presentations with linen-covered tables, individually plated courses and dedicated tableware for appetizers, main courses and desserts.

Designed to offer greater flexibility, the multi-course service allows passengers to enjoy their meals at a more relaxed pace, with personalized service throughout.

"At Air India, we are continually reimagining every aspect of the customer experience," said Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India. "The introduction of our fine dining-style, course-by-course meal service in Business Class is another step in our broader Air India transformation journey."

Complementing the service is a bespoke tableware collection designed to enhance Air India's Vista Verve premium experience while celebrating Indian craftsmanship.

The collection includes dedicated plates for each course, signature glassware and a specially designed espresso cup.

A highlight is the Martaban-inspired cruet set, drawing inspiration from traditional Indian jars used to preserve flavours and family recipes.

The dining enhancements build on Air India's broader investment in premium hospitality, including refreshed food and beverage menus, an award-winning wine selection and upgraded tea offerings.

The initiative also complements the airline's ongoing fleet transformation, including new A350 and 787-9 aircraft and cabin retrofits across its existing fleet.
