Flying Food Group expands Hawaii operations with Maui catering facility
FFG’s OGG facility completes its presence across Hawaii’s four major islands and becomes its 14th U.S. inflight catering location
Flying Food Group (FFG) tells PAX International today it has officially launched a new inflight catering facility at Kahului Airport (OGG), located on the northern edge of the land bridge between Haleakala and the West Maui Mountain Range on the island of Maui, further strengthening its operational footprint across the Hawaiian Islands.
The OGG facility extends FFG’s presence across all four of Hawaii’s major islands and marks the 14th inflight catering facility in FFG’s U.S. network, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting airline partners with reliable, high-quality catering services in key markets.
The facility’s opening was marked by a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony, led by a Kahu, ahead of the official launch of operations. Operations commenced successfully with Hawaiian Airlines, part of Alaska Air Group, as the launch customer, supporting its 10 daily flights. The successful startup reflects extensive advance planning, disciplined operational execution and close coordination among the FFG, Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines teams.
