Flying Food Group launches Alaska Airlines catering operations at EWR

FFG expands Alaska Airlines partnership to EWR
Flying Food Group (FFG) has expanded its partnership with Alaska Airlines with the successful launch of catering operations at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on September 2.
The EWR launch marks FFG’s fourth Alaska Airlines location, following operations in Honolulu, Kona, and Lihue and significantly expands the partnership’s presence on the U.S. East Coast.
“This launch is a significant milestone in our expanding partnership with Alaska Airlines and demonstrates the strength and agility of our organization,” said Nicolas Rondeau, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Flying Food Group. “The EWR team delivered an exceptional first operation under demanding conditions, supported by the expertise and commitment of our teams across the network. This is exactly the level of execution our airline partners expect from Flying Food Group.”
The EWR launch is part of a broader expansion of FFG’s Alaska Airlines operations, with additional launches planned in the coming months. These upcoming launches will further expand FFG’s support of Alaska Airlines across key U.S. markets.
“We look forward to building on the success in Newark as we continue expanding our partnership with Alaska Airlines and preparing for the next series of launches across our network,” added Rondeau.
The successful EWR launch reinforces Flying Food Group’s ability to rapidly mobilize resources, leverage its national network, and execute complex airline startups while maintaining the highest standards of operational performance and customer service.
