gategroup has officially welcomed Cateringpor into its global network, marking a new chapter for the Portuguese airline catering company following the group’s agreement to acquire full ownership of the business in April.
"With Cateringpor officially joining the group, we are strengthening our presence in a key European market and expanding our ability to support airline customers across Lisbon, Porto and beyond," said gategroup in a June 16 LinkedIn post.
"Cateringpor brings strong local expertise, established operations and a proud reputation in aviation catering. Together, we look forward to building on that foundation and creating new opportunities across our network," read the post.
According to gategroup, Cateringpor’s established operations and local market expertise will complement its global network while creating new opportunities for growth.
The company also extended a welcome to Cateringpor’s employees as they join the organization.
“A warm welcome to our new colleagues in Portugal,” gategroup said.
