KC Flight Catering breaks ground on Lahore facility to support growth
KC Flight Catering breaks ground on new 35,000 square foot catering facility
KC Flight Catering has broken ground on a catering facility at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Pakistan expanding its capacity to support the airport’s rapidly growing aviation footprint.
The 35,000 square foot greenfield project is scheduled to begin operations by the end of the first quarter of 2027, with a planned production capacity of up to 20,000 meals per day.
Designed as a state-of-the-art unit, the facility will incorporate solar energy systems to support sustainable operations. The layout will also align with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) flow protocols, enabling improved efficiency across production processes.
The investment comes as Allama Iqbal International Airport undergoes a major expansion to increase its annual passenger handling capacity from five million to 25 million, with completion expected in September 2026.
KC Flight Catering says the new unit will position the company to meet rising demand from airlines operating in Lahore while enhancing operational performance and service delivery.
By integrating increased capacity with modern production standards and sustainable energy solutions, the facility is expected to support long-term growth and strengthen the company’s presence in the region.
