American refreshes Main Cabin menu with snacks and meal options

American’s new Inflight Bites snack box features a curated selection items available in Main Cabin
American Airlines is introducing a refreshed lineup of Main Cabin snacks and meals, expanding its onboard food program with new options designed to elevate the passenger experience.
Available from May 1 on select flights, the updated offering includes the new Inflight Bites box, a curated snack selection featuring items such as gochujang beef jerky, lemon rosemary green olives, smoked Gouda cheese spread and Oreo cookies. The box is priced at US$10 or 1,000 AAdvantage miles.
The airline is also introducing ready-made snack options through a partnership with Chicago-based brand NUTS ON CLARK, bringing regionally inspired products onboard. Passengers can choose from roasted salted mixed nuts, while Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Sweet and Salty Kettle Corn joins the lineup as an additional premium snack option.
To complement the snack selection, American has enhanced its fresh food offerings with an updated fruit and cheese tray. The refreshed option includes Tillamook cheeses, fresh and dried fruit, walnuts, crackers, honey and Toblerone chocolate, creating a more balanced inflight meal choice.

Refreshed fruit and cheese tray and new turkey and Havarti sandwich expand American’s Main Cabin meal options
Beginning June 1, the airline will further expand its Main Cabin menu with a new turkey and Havarti sandwich available on select flights within the United States, Canada, Caribbean and Mexico. Served on artisan avocado bread with spinach, red pepper strips and a caramelized onion-mustard spread, the sandwich is positioned as a convenient meal option for lunch or dinner.
American says the updated menu is part of its broader effort to enhance onboard service during its centennial year, offering passengers more variety and flexibility when choosing inflight food and beverage options.
Passengers can purchase items using tap-to-pay technology or redeem AAdvantage miles, providing additional convenience and flexibility when ordering onboard.
