Vietnam Air Catering Services strengthens halal compliance through MHCT partnership

VINACS has achieved Halal & Hygiene Training facilitated by MHCT, reinforcing the airline caterer’s commitment to MS1500:2019 standards and operational excellence
Vietnam Air Catering Services (VINACS) has successfully completed a comprehensive halal and hygiene audit, reaffirming its commitment to operational excellence and internationally recognized food safety standards. Conducted across VINACS’s Hanoi and Cam Ranh airport facilities, the project highlights the caterer’s dedication to consistently delivering high-quality, compliant services.
“At MHCT, our mission is to drive operational excellence through rigorous adherence to global halal standards. We are therefore pleased to announce the successful completion of the halal & Hygiene Training & Compliance Audit for Vietnam Air Catering Services,” reads a post from MHCT Agency on LinkedIn. “This comprehensive project is a testament to VINACS’s serious commitment and excellent performance in upholding internationally recognized standards for food safety, halal and quality.”
The audit focused on the MS1500:2019 halal standard, a globally recognized benchmark for integrity across the food supply chain. MHCT’s assessment examined VINACS’s internal halal management systems, the segregation of halal and non-halal preparation areas, and the integrity of procurement, inventory and food preparation procedures. The result confirmed that VINACS consistently meets stringent food safety and halal requirements, reinforcing confidence in its ability to serve diverse international clientele.
Following the audit, MHCT delivered a tailored halal and hygiene training program, strengthening VINACS personnel’s expertise in managing halal meals and reinforcing best practices in sourcing, preparation and service. The training ensures that halal compliance is an active, practiced commitment across operations, not merely a documented process.
For airline catering decision-makers, VINACS’s achievement represents a strategic advantage: verified halal compliance secures global market access, mitigates operational risk and reinforces trust in a competitive, regulated industry, concludes the MHCT Agency on LinkedIn post.
