JAL partners with Ajinomoto Co. to offer special menus for Olympic Games Paris 2024

Ajinomoto Co., Inc. and Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) have announced a limited-time offering of “Powered by ‘Kachimeshi®’ TEAM JAPAN Paris 2024 Support Menus” both inflight and in lounges. This initiative represents the companies’ joint support for the “Japan Olympic Team ‘TEAM JAPAN’” participating in the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
Since 2003, as an official partner of the Japanese Olympic Committee, Ajinomoto Co. has been promoting the “Victory Project®”, a nutrition and conditioning support initiative for TEAM JAPAN.
JAL has also been actively involved in promoting various sports and supporting athletes as an official supporter of TEAM JAPAN. JAL will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of TEAM JAPAN for Paris 2024.
In anticipation of Paris 2024, Ajinomoto Co. and JAL have created two special menus by incorporating the concept of Ajinomoto Co.’s winning meals “Kachimeshi®” which are provided to athletes under the “Victory Project®.”
These inflight meals will be available as part of an a la carte menu for First Class and Business Class passengers on select JAL routes from July 1 until September 10. The routes include Paris, London, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego and Sydney to Haneda and Narita.
The special menu items will also be available in the JAL First Class Lounge at Haneda and Narita Airports from July 19 to September 8.
