gategroup has unveiled a fresh identity, rebranding to embrace evolution and transformation within the gate family of brands.
In a May 15 press release, gategroup said that the rebranding “does not only represent a makeover, but it also embraces a group vision and establishes a solid brand affiliation within our three business segments.”
These segments are Aviation Catering (gategourmet and servair), Retail onboard (gateretail) and Food Solution (gatesolutions, deSter and uqonic). gatesolutions is a new brand in the family for tailor made catering and packaged meal solutions.
gategroup is unifying its brand identity with an updated brand architecture focused on visual connection, brand equity and brand recognition. Each brand has a distinct identity while remaining visually connected to gategroup.
“Through our brand revamping we took action to align all our brands visually and we are ready to reveal a vibrant new identity for gategourmet, for servair, and for gateretail. We thrive through our collective efforts and united, we bring flavor to the world,” the company said.
gategroup is also introducing a new company theme and tagline: Creating culinary connections.
The tagline emphasizes the connection that occurs between individuals when sharing food as a collective.
“Food is what brings us together as people and allows us to share in an experience that is unique. When thinking of the new company theme and tagline, gategroup was looking for something that would symbolize the way we come together over food, that shows how we work collaboratively with our partners, and symbolizes our roots in the culinary and travel industry. Creating culinary connections perfectly embodies these ideas,” the press release revealed.
gategroup brings passengers, suppliers, countries and cultures together through food, viewing itself as a connector.
