Cathay rebrands catering services to Cathay Dining
Cathay has announced the rebranding of its catering business as Cathay Dining. The subsidiary formerly known as Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Ltd. (‘CPCS’) has delivered inflight and catering cuisine solutions to Cathay Pacific passengers for nearly six decades.
In its April 12 press release, Cathay Pacific said this significant milestone in Cathay Dining’s journey “reaffirms its dedication to curating exceptional experiences through high-quality catering solutions for Cathay Pacific and other esteemed airlines.”
Alex McGowan, Cathay Chief Operations and Service Delivery Officer, and Cathay Dining Chair, said of the rebranding: “We have invested heavily over the years to transform Cathay Dining into a world-class provider of dining solutions and experiences. The new brand reflects this and underlines the important role that dining plays in helping Cathay achieve its vision of becoming one of the world’s greatest service brands.”
Cathay Dining provides inflight dining solutions to Cathay Pacific and other major airlines flying to and from Hong Kong. It also delivers catering services to businesses outside of the aviation industry. Cathay Dining produced 19 million meals last year.

The rebrand to Cathay Dining follows the group’s global rebrand to Cathay in September 2023.
