Malaysia Airlines teams up with The Westin Kuala Lumpur for a holiday lounge menu
Malaysia Airlines and The Westin Kuala Lumpur are teaming up to celebrate the Christmas season with a curated menu offering. The special menu will be available from December 22 to 25 at all the airline’s Golden Lounges in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1.
Travellers visiting the Golden Lounge Satellite, Golden Lounge Regional and Golden Lounge Domestic on these dates will be able to enjoy a special menu curated by Executive Chef Zebdelone Chal of The Westin Kuala Lumpur Hotel. With 25 years of culinary experience, Chef Zeb’s menu “promises a delectable gastronomic adventure in time for the upcoming holiday season,” Malaysia Airlines said in its press release.
The holiday menu offering will feature thyme roasted chicken thigh, braised beef short ribs, beef stew with potato and carrots, buttered broccoli with almond flakes and the classic mashed potato. For dessert, lounge visitors can indulge in a tantalizing green emerald pistachio mousse. Those dining at the airline’s Platinum Lounge (Satellite) will enjoy the addition the salmon mi cuit as an appetizer.
Travellers who can access the lounge to enjoy these special meals include passengers and frequent flyer members travelling on Business Class, Enrich Platinum, First Class on codeshare flights (Malaysia Airlines operated flights), oneworld First Class and oneworld Emerald.
Economy Class passengers can also purchase access to the Golden Lounge via the Journify website or mobile app.
