Newrest to cater SAS in Scandinavia
Newrest has signed a new long-term contract with Scandinavian Airlines to provide catering and logistics in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Starting in November 2022, Newrest Inflight Logistics (NIL), the group’s subsidiary in the region, will be the home base caterer for SAS out of Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo. N.I.L is also present in Malmö, Gothenburg, Billund.
The operations will take place in new catering units geared with the latest technologies and innovations In line with Newrest Group and airline environmental commitments.
NIL is a joint venture signed in July 2021 between Inflight International Logistics (I.I.L.) and Newrest group.
“With N.I.L. we demonstrate to SAS our commitment to the region. We are now in all major northern European markets with a strong network and cultural understanding through our partnerships,” said Olivier Sadran, Co-CEO and founder of Newrest Group in today’s announcement.
