Radnor Hills canned water to roll out next month

By Jane Hobson

UK-based soft drink manufacturer Radnor Hills has announced the launch of a range of canned spring waters that will hit the market next month. According to a press release, the company has extended its packaging portfolio to “embrace the can.”

Pure spring water is sourced from the company’s family farm in Powys, Wales, where it takes seven minutes to filter from the ground to a can. Each 330ml aluminium can of still or sparkling water in the range is 100% recyclable, lightweight for easy transport, leak-proof and boasts a long shelf life.

The new line is the result of a £3.5 million investment that allows the company to fill still, sparkling and infused canned drinks from a direct feed from bore holes.

“Installing our first ever canning line has been an exciting new adventure for us as a business, and we are so pleased to be able to offer our customers yet another format for their spring water and other products,” said Owner and Managing Director of Radnor Hills William Watkins in a press release dated October 31.
