Newrest takes stake in Turkish food company
Newrest has expanded its existing Mediterranean operations, taking a 50% stake in the Turkish company Pariltim Yemek in partnership with founder Necat Aydin and his family.
The family-run company founded in 2009 is well known for out-of-home food service in Turkey, with annual sales of €50 million (US$55.5 million) and 2,400 employees. Bahadır Aydin, son of Necat Aydin, leads the executive team.
“With this new stake, Olivier Sadran and Jonathan Stent-Torriani are affirming the Newrest Group’s desire to expand its strategic operations around the Mediterranean by diversifying its areas of business and expertise,” said a release from Newrest.
