Newrest announces several new contracts
This week Newrest Group announced a new batch of contracts with international carriers.
The caterer finalized a five-year deal with Emirates for service at 13 airports and three lounges, according to an April 23 press release.
Olivier Sadran and Jonathan Stent-Torriani, the CEOs of Newrest, said in a joint statement: “We are delighted and honored by the confidence Emirates has shown in Newrest with this exceptional long-term contract in nine countries. We are convinced our partnership will go from strength to strength and are confident that it will contribute to the realization of additional projects in other countries where our group is present.”
This deal is just one of several new contracts the company announced this month.
Newrest Netherlands has partnered with LEVEL, a low-cost carrier based in the Netherlands, for its three A321 routes flying daily from Amsterdam to multiple European locations.
An April 23 press release noted that Newrest has been managing the onboard retail program on Sky Peru flights in Peru since April 8. The deal includes the implementation of frontend and backend technology solutions.
On April 13, Newrest Greece announced it has started operations for Corendon Airlines at Chania International Airport (CHQ). The carrier has implemented a Buy On Board program with the carrier that will take place over the summer.
