SWISS extends Gate Gourmet contract
Gate Gourmet services SWISS out of Zurich and Geneva
Gate Gourmet announced today it has signed a new contract with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) that extends their relationship to 2022.
Gate Gourmet and SWISS introduced the award-winning SWISS Taste of Switzerland concept where top chefs create seasonal dishes from across the Swiss regions for First and Business Class guests. Menus are updated every three months.
The two companies worked alongside the guest chefs to create dishes that taste the same in flight as they do when served in a gourmet restaurant. Because of this attention to detail, the "International Travel Catering Association" awarded the SWISS Taste of Switzerland concept its Mercury Award.
Gate Gourmet will continue to design and develop meals for SWISS' First, Business and Economy Classes on its 100+ international routes from Zurich and Geneva.
