ANA renews its international inflight duty free pre-order service for passengers
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has renewed its pre-ordering service for international inflight duty free shopping, introducing a redesigned website for flights departing on or after August 1.
The new Pre-Order Service Website allows passengers to browse duty free products from a computer or smartphone, regardless of flight reservation status. ANA has also expanded the site’s supported languages to Japanese, English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Italian and Spanish.
The renewal is designed to make inflight shopping more convenient, with passengers able to place orders from 45 days before departure. For flights departing Japan, orders can be placed up to two days before departure. For flights departing outside Japan, orders can be placed up to three days before departure.
“Driven by our commitment to passenger comfort and convenience, we have revamped our international inflight duty free pre-order service,” said Keiji Omae, Member of the Board and Executive Vice President of Customer Experience at ANA. “By offering a wider selection of exclusive products and an extended pre-order window, we look forward to elevating the inflight shopping experience and unlocking a wider, more seamless journey.”
The new service offers a lineup of approximately 300 items, giving passengers access to a broader selection than what is available on board. ANA said the expanded assortment includes exclusive and popular products, including items not listed in the inflight magazine ANA SKY SHOP.
Passengers can also check product inventory on the website while placing an order, helping them secure popular items ahead of travel.
ANA has added advance online payment to the service, allowing passengers to pay at the time of ordering by credit card or debit card. The airline said this removes the need for payment procedures on board and allows passengers to receive their items more smoothly during the flight. Cash is not accepted through the pre-order service.
To mark the relaunch, ANA is running a Pre-Order Service Renewal Campaign, offering discounts of up to 15 percent on eligible items ordered through the new website.
The renewed pre-order service will be available on eligible international flights, excluding certain services.
