Air Astana has unveiled its new bespoke kids’ amenity program, Travel Tales, designed to entertain and inspire young travelers. At the heart of the program are three lovable characters, Mishka, Tana and Zak, who invite children to join them on exciting journeys around the world. Although the trio love their home country, they thrive on exploring new cultures, vibrant cities, and the natural wonders of our planet.
Each character brings a unique skill to their adventures: Mishka has the nose for discovering delicious treats, Tana cares deeply for the environment, and Zak’s boundless energy keeps the group moving forward. Together, they are a group of global travelers that each contribute something valuable to the journey.
Tailored for every age
The Travel Tales program is carefully crafted to suit three distinct age groups, with age- appropriate styling, activities and bags designed for use both during the flight and beyond.
- Young Kids (Ages three to six): With fluffy and playful designs featuring Mishka, Tana, and Zak, these kits will capture the hearts of littlest travellers. Highlights include a backpack, pencil case, lunch-style bag, activities, games, and plush bag tags.
- Big Kids (Ages seven to 11): A contemporary, geometric reimagining of the trio designed to appeal to older children, the kits include a crossbody bag, satchel, tech pouch, travel wallet, activities, fluffy keyring, luggage strap and phone stand.
- Teens (Ages 12 to 15): A sophisticated, graphic design using the trio’s signature colours and patterns give a more mature look. Kits include a functional hanging washbag, zip pouch, phone lanyard, luggage strap, waist bag, phone stand and puzzle.
Conscious by design
Reflecting Air Astana’s commitment to sustainability, the Travel Tales program incorporates multiple eco-conscious features:
- Recycled materials: including RPET and cotton canvas.
- Recyclable paper: All paper items are recyclable.
- Keepsake value: Every item is designed to be enjoyed onboard and treasured at home.
The collection features three kit rotations, with distinct inbound and outbound designs for each age group, encouraging engagement and collectability.
Created by Buzz, the Travel Tales program brings a new level of fun and adventure to the family travel and aims to inspire long after the journey ends.
The new Air Astana kids’ amenity kits will be available from September on international flights longer than three hours.
