Korean Air upgrades inflight children's amenities

Korean Air's amenity kit collection for kids
Korean Air has upgraded its inflight service for young travelers with the launch of a collection of children's amenities. The new offerings are designed to provide greater comfort and entertainment for children and their families during their journey.
The collection of children's amenities has grown from two to nine thoughtfully curated items, reflecting the diverse needs of different age groups. The airline now offers two distinct kit types: one for preschool-aged children and another for school-aged children.
The collection features practical and destination-friendly items such as a hooded beach towel, regular beach towel, memory foam neck pillow, slippers, bed socks, and an airplane keyring. For inflight activities, the selection includes a coloring activity pack, a doodle book, and a 3D paper plane craft.
The children's amenities vary across long, medium, and short-haul routes, with the selection considering the route's characteristics and season.
Another key upgrade involves the children's headphones. The airline has replaced its previous reusable headsets that needed to be returned after the flight, which were unavailable on some short-haul flights. Now, children on every route or class will receive their own pair to keep, ensuring an enjoyable entertainment experience.
"Our goal was to create moments of joy and comfort, whether it's a child getting creative at 30,000 feet or resting with their new pillow," said Dong Wook Lee, Managing Vice President and Head of Korean Air's Inflight Service Department. "It’s our way of welcoming our youngest guests on board and helping the whole family create wonderful memories together."
