JPA Design and PTP will offer customizable amenity kit options with new partnership

Plane Talking Products (PTP) and JPA Design have partnered on product-driven solutions that blend form, function and passenger comfort. This partnership unites PTP’s expertise in bedding, textiles and amenities and serviceware with JPA Design’s cabin interior design credentials.

At the heart of the collaboration is a shared commitment to designing products that integrate seamlessly with cabin environments. Every item has been developed to enhance passenger wellbeing and reinforce brand consistency through thoughtful, innovative details.

In Premium Economy, a reimagined sleeping solution replaces unnecessary packaging with purposeful design. Made from soft RPET jersey, it offers a sustainable, cozy experience while maintaining hygiene standards. The blanket folds entirely into itself—no external packaging needed—and ties to the seat back, freeing up space and supporting a cleaner cabin layout. Inside, it features a drawstring pocket for the pillow and a smaller pouch to keep personal items secure and within reach.

In Business Class, a magnetically integrated mattress topper showcases what’s possible when product and interior design work in harmony. The topper connects to the seat’s dress cover via hidden magnets, removing the need for excess packaging and enabling the use of more premium materials.

Adding another layer of personalization, PTP and JPA have also introduced a customizable amenity kit concept, allowing passengers to tailor their onboard experience based on how they want to feel. This more deliberate, choice-based system aims to improve satisfaction and reduce waste.

“This collaboration highlights the opportunity for product design to shape meaningful onboard passenger experiences —where every touchpoint is considered, every material is intentional and every product serves a purpose greater than its function,” said the press release. “Together, PTP and JPA Design are creating tomorrow’s inflight experience—one detail at a time."
