Turkish Airlines has introduced a refreshed collection of toy sets designed for its youngest passengers on international flights lasting five hours or more. The “My Travel Buddy” series includes five unique sets, tailored to the length of the journey, to engage and encourage children to build their own toy collections.
The updated toy sets, featuring the five little explorers of the Turkish Airlines Kids Club, were curated to meet the developmental needs of specific age groups, the November 5 press release said. Designed for long-haul flights, these new toy sets are geared to children aged two to six and seven to 12.
The toy sets include a variety of educational and creative items. The “tangram” puzzle encourages problem-solving, spatial reasoning and understanding of geometric shapes. The “camping set” concept promotes environmental awareness from an early age. Plush toys nurture emotional development, providing a sense of comfort and security, while pilot hats and model airplanes fuel children's curiosity and interest in aviation.
Activity booklets and crayons support fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while activities that include Türkiye's cultural assets aim to introduce young travellers to the country’s cultural heritage through interactive content.
In line with Turkish Airlines’ commitment to sustainability, all toys in the new sets are made from eco-friendly and recycled materials, reinforcing environmental responsibility.
