JetBlue and Buzz partnership blooms with spring amenity kits
JetBlue has revealed a lineup of new amenity partners, menu changes, entertainment options and more to elevate the inflight experience this spring, starting with its Mint® Class. Welcoming in a new season, the airline is bringing forth updated menus for its Core Class and updated streaming offerings for all passengers.
Amenities in Mint
The Mint amenities debuting this spring include a reusable, foldable backpack, available on transatlantic flights beginning March 13, and a collectible amenity pouch, available on domestic flights beginning April 1. The collectible snapping pouch is designed by Caraa, and contains wellness products from New York-based brands Dr. Dennis Gross, Plus Ultra and Tuft & Needle.
The amenity kits, created in partnership with Buzz, are set to enhance the passenger experience in JetBlue's premium Mint class while focusing on sustainability.
On transatlantic routes, Mint passengers will receive the charcoal-coloured Caraa sport mesh pouch that unfolds into a mint-coloured, functional backpack, suitable for use as a travel day pack, hotel gym bag or beach tote.
On domestic routes, Mint travellers will be able to use a snappable pouch that holds all travel essentials. There are four colourways (sage, clay, sand, gunmetal) so passengers can collect them all to mix and match with their own style, mood and travel accessories.
The kits contain products from Dr. Dennis Gross, helping passengers prioritize skincare in the skies with the comfort of knowing they are cruelty-free and safe-for-skin products. Mint passengers can find ultra-rich Hyaluronic Marine products inside the kit, including the Hyaluronic Marine Oil-Free Moisture Cushion and Hydrate + Smooth Hand Treatment, Ultra Gentle Daily Peel treatments and Moisture-Lock Lip Balm.
Plus Ultra is an eco-conscious company creating personal care essentials and accessories for oral hygiene. Mint passengers will receive a sculpted Moso bamboo toothbrush, a renewable resource that is durable and features anti-bacterial qualities to protect it from germs and mould. Travellers will also find Plus Ultra’s Mint gel toothpaste or mouthwash inside the kit.
Dining in Mint and Core
In addition to the amenities, passengers flying with JetBlue can look forward to updated menu offerings from Legacy Records, one of three rotating restaurant partners from Delicious Hospitality Group (DHG), in Mint. The menu will incorporate seasonal flavors with offerings such as coconut yogurt with maple-pecan, ginger granola or a warm rosemary honey biscuit by The Hungry Gnome for breakfast. For lunch or dinner, passengers can choose from lamb shoulder with roasted carrots, harissa and citrus breadcrumbs or orzo served with roasted tomatoes, marinated feta and arugula.
DIG, is bringing farm-to-tray-table dishes to JetBlue’s transatlantic Core experience for the first time.
