Watermark releases inflight kits for kids with Air Astana
Watermark has launched a collaboration for young passengers with Air Astana. The inflight kits are designed to educate and inspire kids about the important of sustainability; they will be onboard from February 24, the press release said. The compilation of kits is designed for children ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 12.
The kits’ themes are based on the four elements, Earth, Wind, Water and Fire. Each kit was been curated to appeal to children and engage them in an interactive learning experience while nurturing environmental awareness during their flight with Air Astana.
Each Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire kit combines entertainment and education, introducing sustainability concepts through play and discovery. Aspects young passengers learn about from the kits include understanding renewable energy sources and embracing the principles of the four R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Repair.
The contents of the bags are designed to be reused as part of the brands’ commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness. The bags are made from rPET and eco-friendly materials like HDPE recyclable water bottles. They also come in compostable packaging.
"We are thrilled to present our latest kids' kits for Air Astana," said Kenny Harmel, Managing Director at Watermark. "Our aim is not only to make air travel a fun and educational experience for children but also to provide on-board kits that serve a purpose and can be used again and again."
Yekaterina Kuzmina, Manager of Inflight and Ground Products at Air Astana, expressed that the Watermark kits align with Air Astana's commitment to providing a sustainable and responsible travel experience for its passengers.
"We are excited to partner with Watermark to offer these innovative sustainability-inspired kids' kits to our young passengers," said Kuzmina. "As an airline, we believe in responsible travel, and these kits are a fantastic way to engage and educate our youngest travellers about the importance of protecting our planet."
