Geven strengthens flyadeal partnership with Premium Economy seats for A330 fleet

flyadeal A330-900neo in the airline’s livery, set to support its expansion into long-haul operations with new cabin products and seating partnerships
Geven is reinforcing its partnership with flyadeal through the introduction of its Comoda AQ seat for the airline’s first-ever Premium Economy cabin, set to debut on a new fleet of A330-900neo aircraft.
The agreement marks a milestone for flyadeal as it prepares to expand into long-haul operations, introducing a two-class configuration that includes Premium Economy for the first time. The new A330 aircraft are scheduled to enter service from mid-2027, supporting routes between Saudi Arabia, Asia and Europe, as well as high-demand regional and pilgrimage services.
Geven’s Comoda AQ seat has been selected to deliver enhanced comfort and functionality for medium- to long-haul travel. The 14-seat Premium Economy cabin will feature a seven-abreast configuration, offering a 38-inch pitch and eight-inch recline to provide increased personal space and improved passenger comfort.
Each seat is equipped with a range of passenger-focused features, including dedicated storage for personal items, enhanced cushioning, footrests and USB-C charging ports. The design incorporates a mix of synthetic and leather materials in a deep violet finish, reflecting a modern and cohesive cabin aesthetic.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two companies, with flyadeal also selecting Geven to equip its incoming A320 family narrowbody fleet.
“We are thrilled to support flyadeal at such a pivotal moment as they introduce their first Premium Economy product,” said Alberto Veneruso, Managing Director, Geven. “It is an honor to stand alongside flyadeal as they take this important step in enhancing their passenger experience.”
Sanjiv Kapoor, Executive Vice President Strategies at Saudia Group and flyadeal Acting Chief Executive Officer, said the seat selection followed nearly a year of planning, with comfort, durability, sustainability and cabin ambience central to the decision-making process.
The introduction of Premium Economy represents a strategic shift for flyadeal as it broadens its service offering and positions itself for long-haul growth, while Geven continues to expand its presence in the global aircraft seating market.
