SIMONA Boltaron introduces two additional textures for 4380 material

Simona Boltaron is also introducing two new textures in its 4380 materials
At this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo, SIMONA Boltaron® introduced 4380, a next-generation Paragraph A-rated material (FAR 25.853 (a)) designed for premium aircraft interiors. Lighter and more efficient than its predecessor, 4330, the 4380 offers:
• Eight percent reduction in weight to help lower fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• 10ºC higher heat distortion temperature for improved performance
• Ideal strength and durability for tray tables and high-use applications
Now, Simona Boltaron is also introducing two new textures that bring the tactile richness of textiles into thermoplastic design:
-
BD Texture: An elegant, woven-like finish that adds warmth, refinement, and a tailored sophistication to decorative surfaces.
-
TL Texture: A soft, organic texture with subtle sheen that enhances intimacy and comfort, evoking the feel of fine fabric
“With 4380 redefining performance standards and innovative textures opening doors for design expression, SIMONA Boltaron continues to deliver materials that empower both airlines and designers to shape the future of the cabin and elevate passenger experience,” the press release said.
