Air Tahiti is introducing its ATR 72-600 "HighLine," an aircraft fully configured as an all-Business Class cabin. ATR unveiled this offering at the International Paris Air Show.

The ATR 72-600 "HighLine" directly addresses the growing demand from international travelers for elevated standards, the press release said. This travel experience begins with personalized service at check-in. Once on board, the Polynesian-inspired cabin features 26 individual Business Class seats arranged in a 1-1 configuration, featuring Geven’s ETEREA seat.

“We’re thrilled about the unveiling of Air Tahiti’s upcoming all-Business Class service between Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Raiatea, set to launch by the end of 2026,” said Geven via LinkedIn. “ETEREA embodies elegance and sophistication, offering passengers an unparalleled flying experience. With meticulous attention to detail, Geven has crafted a seat that seamlessly blends luxury and functionality, meeting the expectations of today’s most discerning travelers.”

This layout provides every passenger with direct aisle and window access, ensuring ample space, privacy and breathtaking views of our lagoons. Couples have the option to privatize an entire row.

Beyond comfort, the ATR 72-600 HighLine embodies a commitment to sustainability. ATR is renowned for the reliability and environmental performance of its aircraft. The ATR, for example, emits 45 percent less CO2 compared to a similarly sized jet.

According to the press release, Air Tahiti expects to receive this ATR 72-600 “HighLine” in the second half of 2026.

This ATR is part of a batch of four ATR 72-600 aircraft, ordered on July 24, 2024, as part of Air Tahiti's fleet renewal policy. The first aircraft will join the fleet in June, followed by this “all-Business Class” ATR, with two additional deliveries scheduled for 2027 and 2028.

Once in service, it will exclusively operate flights to the islands of Bora Bora and Raiatea, extending this service to the neighboring island of Tahaa.
