Burrana integrates passenger service solutions into RISE Power

Burrana RISE Power + PSS
Burrana, a global provider of cabin technology solutions, has used the occasion of this year’s Aircraft Cabin Interior’s (AIX) to launch its RISE Power system with integrated Passenger Service Solutions (PSS).
As airlines increasingly defer the retirement of legacy aircraft due to delays in OEM linefit deliveries, Burrana’s integrated RISE Power + PSS solution allows airlines to streamline their retrofit programs, especially when modernising widebody aircraft.
RISE Power + PSS is designed for 747, 767, 777, 787, A330 and A340 aircraft types, and allows for the addition of PSS functionality (attendant call and reading lights) within the RISE Power architecture with one box powering both USB outlets and essential PSS features, eliminating the need for separate PSS hardware.
The first aircraft modification is anticipated to enter service in 2026 on a launch customer to be announced soon.
David Pook, VP Global Marketing & Sales said, “We are thrilled to be selected for our unique ability to provide an integrated in-seat power + passenger service solution using a one-box approach, significantly reducing weight and complexity, and are already seeing growing interest from additional airlines and MROs.”
RISE Power has been chosen for over 400 aircraft worldwide. It integrates into both retrofit and linefit programs, including as a selectable in-seat power system (ISPS) option in the Airbus A320 family Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) Catalogue.
