AliceBluAero receives approval for dynamic testing
AliceBluAero has announced that it successfully progressed through the UKCAA ADOA review and has been granted approval to commence dynamic testing on July 29th.
“This milestone marks a groundbreaking step as we move into certification testing with the authorities,” the company said via LinkedIn. “Reaching this stage is a testament to the extensive work and dedication of our team.”
Claire Stranaghan, VP Quality at AliceBluAero said, “Since AIX, the team has been extremely busy reviewing our takt times and starting to carry out line balancing on the production line to prepare for our growth capacity plan. All standard work is in place and we are preparing for the operational excellence our customers deserve.”
AliceBluAero showcased its Quantum WB Business Class seats at AIX 2024, after designing them in three weeks and building them in four.
The seat is designed for widebody platforms in a four-across configuration, with a 44” pitch. The Quantum WB transitions into a 78” fully lie-flat bed for sleep at 30,000 feet.
