Mirus Aircraft Seating showcased a refined version of its Falcon long-range Economy Class seat at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg last week.

The Falcon was initially unveiled as a concept at AIX 2023 and is Mirus’ first long-range Economy Class seat. It features integrated inflight entertainment technology, compatible with 13-inch IFE systems and has a weight of 10.5 kilograms per pax when fully dressed. The seat is suitable for both twin-aisle and single-aisle aircraft on long-haul routes, including 737MAX, 777 and 787 and A321XLR, A330 and A350. The Falcon features a 27-degree recline and articulated seat pan.

The configurable seat can accommodate options such as four or six-way adjustable headrests, various literature pockets, USB A or C charging, PED holders and a deployable foot rest.

The Falcon comes with Mirus Care as standard, offering a comprehensive warranty package.

“At Mirus, our goal is to create a family of seating solutions, which will become the class leaders in their respective segments. We start all our new product developments by really listening to OEM’s and airlines, and understanding what their needs are,” said Adam Challenor, Technical Director of Mirus. “This way we know we are creating seats that truly address the needs of the market. We are proud to show selected partners our updated Falcon this year and excited to hear the feedback!”

The first seats will be certified and enter service in Q1 of 2026.
