RECARO Aircraft Seating celebrates 25 years of manufacturing
RECARO Aircraft Seating (RECARO) celebrated 25 years of manufacturing at its Americas facility in Fort Worth, Texas, with a milestone event on December 13. In its press release, the company noted the VIPs in attendance included customers, business partners and regional media, along with RECARO leadership and employees.
The celebratory event kicked off with a tour of the facility to showcase its evolution from 1998 to the modern aviation seating production facility it is today. After the tour, event attendees enjoyed lunch, speeches by the RECARO leadership team and a variety of team-building activities, including a bike build for charity.
"As we celebrate 25 years of RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas, we reflect with pride on the legacy of innovation, dedication, and excellence that has defined our journey,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO of RECARO Aircraft Seating and RECARO Holding. “I want to extend thanks to our dedicated team, partners, and loyal customers who played a pivotal role in our success."
The RECARO Americas site was established in 1998 and, over the last quarter century, has grown from 30 employees with two production lines to nearly 500 professionals and six running production lines. This month, the Americas facility is set to achieve the production milestone of building more than 423,000 passenger seats for customers in its 25 years of business.
As a part of the company’s long-term growth strategy, the Americas facility aims for a 10 percent year-over-year growth through 2026. Colleagues at this facility are also actively engaged with the community through partnerships with local universities, charity runs and seasonal fundraisers.
"Since 1998, we have stayed at the forefront of shaping the aviation seating industry, consistently delivering comfort and support to our customers,” said Sunitha Vegerla, General Manager at RECARO Aircraft Seating Americas. “This milestone not only commemorates our past achievements but also propels us forward, and we look forward to many more years of elevating the passenger journey through our exceptional seating solutions."
