Japan Airlines highlights A350-1000 international interiors
Japan Airlines (JAL) announced in a December 10 press release that it will introduce its A350-1000 international aircraft on the Tokyo (HND) - New York (JFK) route (JL006/JL005) beginning January 24, 2024. The airline highlighted the elevated First Class, Business Class and Premium Economy Class seating options for passengers with the all-new cabin interiors on the A350-1000.
The cabin interiors are more spacious, offering a high level of comfort for passengers in all classes. The First Class cabin features private suites that feel like a luxury hotel room. They feature an adjustable sofa that converts into the passenger’s choice of a single or double bed. There are built-in headrest speakers to allow travellers to enjoy the IFE with high-quality sound.
The Business Class cabin configuration aboard the A350-1000 also features fully private rooms. The personal space is separated from the aisles with a door. Inside the private room, passengers in Business Class can enjoy built-in headrest speakers and a large 24-inch monitor. A private wardrobe for hanging jackets and storing luggage adds to the convenience of the Business Class experience.
In Premium Economy class on the A350-1000, JAL’s passengers can expect to see larger partitions for improved privacy along with a special FIXBACK seat for stress-free recline that doesn’t affect the passenger sitting behind. A leg rest is also available in these seats along with a 4K monitor for IFE that is 1.3 times larger than previous models.
The Economy Class experience is also seat to be elevated onboard JAL’s new A350-1000 with more spacious seating, adjustable recline with a preset angle and a 13-inch 4K monitor for enjoying IFE. The monitor also features Bluetooth connectivity.
This is what passengers in all classes travelling from Tokyo Haneda to JFK can anticipate on the A350-1000 beginning January 24. The next route slated for JAL’s A350-1000 service is Tokyo to Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW).
