RECARO Aircraft Seating recognizes top suppliers at 12th annual conference
RECARO Global Supplier Conference attendance 2023
RECARO Aircraft Seating hosted its 12th annual Global Supplier Conference at its headquarters in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, following a three year hiatus. The theme of the event, “Fit for Growth” focuses on future partnerships with suppliers and the importance of sustainability in the industry, according to an October 23 press release.
“Fit for growth emphasizes the joint way forward we’ll pursue with our suppliers,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO of RECARO Aircraft Seating and RECARO Holding. “After three years, pandemic gears have switched – it’s all about driving for a successful future – as collaborating partners who are focused on one goal – a profitable and sustainable market position, that will enable us to manage our planned double digit growth in the upcoming years.”
There were almost 150 participants from around the world at the conference, where RECARO shared updates about recent, sitewide growth and produce development. The company also held discussions to offer guidance for supplier expectations relating to 2024 outlook and beyond, the press release said.
Five awards were given to suppliers during the conference to recognize their performance in the past year. These award categories (Sustainability, Newcomer, Production Material, Non-Production Material and Customer Service) were chosen to reflect the importance of partnerships, reliability and commitment within the industry, RECARO stated in its press release.
allsafe GmbH & Co. KG received the Sustainability Award for their sustainable and focused mindset, which aligns with RECARO’s environmental goals. LIKUM GmbH, from Germany, received the Newcomer Award for their commitment and willingness to invest into business, said RECARO in the press release.
Suzhou Haoxin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. was awarded the Production Material Award by RECARO at the conference for their proactive and supportive manner.
Seabridge Transport GmbH was awarded in the Non-Production Material category for their excellent customer orientation, RECARO’s press release stated. Meanwhile, ALDINGER INDUSTRIES AIROVATION GmbH & Co. KG was given the Customer Service Award for reliable performance flexibility.
