Mirus launches Agility program for aircraft lessors
The Mirus Hawk economy seat is the first to benefit from the Mirus Agility program
Mirus Aircraft Seating has introduced its Mirus Agility program, which promises to reduce lead times from the industry average of 14 weeks to between six-to-eight from order to delivery.
Mirus Agility is designed to meet the unique requirements of aircraft leasing companies managing. short aircraft transition schedules and is currently available for its Hawk economy seats. From early 2024, this will be extended to the Kestrel economy seat. Both options are suitable for Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737 aircraft in pre-defined layouts.
When even tighter time constraints are called for, leasing companies can provide longer term requirements and Mirus will manufacture and hold in stock ready for call-off when aircraft enter the hangar.
Whilst the specification is pre-defined, there are a range of tailored options to make the seat individual to the airline who will fly the seat. These include a choice of seat types - recline and fixed back variants, a choice of pre-certified synthetic dress cover colours, and further customisation is available, which may increase lead-time.
The Mirus Care warranty package comes as standard.
