JPA Design joins the Green Cabin Alliance

JPA Design has become the first organization of its kind to join the Green Cabin Alliance. The move is part of JPA Design’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of aircraft cabin interiors.
“As a provider of design services to many of the world’s largest airlines, we understand our client’s need to ensure that sustainability of a core part of their design process,” said James Park, Chairman and Founder of JPA Design, in a June 9 press release. “We are proud to be the first design agency to recognize the importance of industry collaboration in this area and the future benefits it brings.“
Established as a non-profit organization in 2022, the Green Cabin Alliance aims to coordinate sustainability efforts within the cabin interiors industry. Its primary objective is to develop a comprehensive set of standards that will provide customers with clear indicators of the environmental credentials of cabin interiors, enabling them to make choices that minimize their carbon footprint.
JPA Design will collaborate with other prominent industry suppliers, including Boeing, to advance three key objectives outlined by the Green Cabin Alliance:
- Raise awareness and deepen understanding of sustainability issues within the sector
- Promote the use of sustainable materials, processes, and products in cabin interiors
- Facilitate a collective transition towards more sustainable practices
This partnership will help enable airlines to take significant strides toward achieving their environmental goals.
