Ultrafabrics has partnered with Pantone for the third time on its annual Color of the Year introduction. The collaboration will see Ultrafabrics bring forward the vision for transforming interior spaces and encouraging personal connection. Pantone’s Color of the Year 2025 is Mocha Mousse.

“Our theme for this year is Simple Pleasures: The Art of Indulgent Comfort, celebrating the beauty of slowing down, embracing mindful living, and finding joy in life’s quiet moments,” said Ultrafabrics of its inspiration from the Color of the Year. “At the beginning of 2025, we will release a refined Simple Pleasures palette, curated inspirations and exclusive sensory workshops designed to empower designers to reimagine interiors that foster harmony and balance.”

Pantone calls its Color of the Year 2025, “an evocative soft brown that transports our senses into the pleasure and deliciousness.”

Mocha Mousse, reminiscent of cacao, chocolate and coffee, appeals to the desire for comfort and offers sensory warmth.

Pantone said via LinkedIn that there is “a growing movement to align ourselves more closely with the natural world. Characterized by its organic nature, Mocha Mousse honours and embraces the sustenance of our physical environment.”

“Partnering with Pantone once again to deliver new perspectives on how colour impacts culture and culture impacts colour,” said Barry Silverman, Vice President of Marketing and Branding at Ultrafabrics.
