Thales' facility in Salt Lake City marks expansion
The Thales facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, recently marked its expansion with a grand opening celebration. In attendance were Thales employees along with local suppliers and partners and Jim Grover, Managing Director of Economic Growth for the Utah government’s Office of Economic Opportunity.
“Thales’s presence in Utah builds upon a legacy starting with the founding of Montek in 1955, and is augmented by our robust portfolio of air traffic management technologies,” Thales Aerospace said via LinkedIn.
The facility focuses on the engineering and manufacturing civil and military navigation aids to support aviation safety and efficient operations by our armed forces and allies in the air, field and at sea.
Thales Aerospace said that it plans to more than double its employee base at the facility by 2032.
