Burrana announces RISE Power linefit capability for A320 family

Burrana announced a significant milestone today, revealing that its most advanced in-seat power supply system is published in the Airbus BFE catalogue as a selectable option for airlines specifying passenger power on the A320 family of aircraft. Two airlines representing 170 aircraft have now selected RISE Power for linefit A320 and A321 aircraft.
“We are proud to reach this milestone and offer Airbus customers with an advanced technology alternative for in-seat power that supports the needs of passenger devices into the future. We welcome the opportunity to meet with any customers in the process of specifying a new A320 or A321 cabin to demonstrate our unique RISE Power solution,” said David Pook, VP Customer Experience.
Burrana attributed the achievement to the successful completion of hardware qualification testing requirements, Airbus’ approval of associated certification documentation and the successful delivery of the first aircraft into passenger service. The company cited its inclusion in the catalogue as a “stamp of approval” in regards to the Airbus offerability process and compliance with Airbus requirements and specifications.
