The team at Diehl Aviation announces the opening of two branches in China

Diehl Aviation announced in press release that it is increasing its presence and customer focus in China. The company opened two branches in China on October 10. One is a new on-site support in Tianjin, including the foundation of a new corporation called Diehl Aviation Operation Support Services (Tianjin) LLC.

In its press release, the company said it also opened a Customer Service Office in Beijing, the first of its kind in China for the company. The on-site support in Tianjin is an expansion of an existing branch office and will provide support to the A320 final assembly line.

Diehl Aviation’s new corporation is a Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise (WFOE) and enables the company to advance its product offerings on the Chinese market, the press release stated.

“At Diehl Aviation, the focus is on the customers,” said Oliver Carmincke, SVP Aftermarket Services and Solutions. “To this end, it is essential to be in close proximity to the market participants and be familiar with the specific local conditions. Our enhanced presence in Tianjin now provided ideal possibilities.”

“The market in China is still growing rapidly,” said Harald Mehring, Chief Customer Officer of Diehl Aviation. “We want to have a stronger presence there in the future, to focus on our customers and offer them the best possible access to our products. Our new office in Beijing enables us to meet our customers in person while shortening travel distances for potential and existing customers.”

The move to open new branches in China comes as Diehl Aviation works to strengthen and diversify its role in the global market, the company said.
