Airlander 10's new cabin interiors will combine luxury with sustainability

Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) has selected JETMS Completions to supply luxury and tourism cabin interiors for Airlander 10.

The customized interior for Airlander 10, which is a hybrid variant expected to provide a 90 percent reduction in CO2 impact against comparable fixed-wing aircraft, will be designed with attention paid to utilize sustainable materials and production techniques. A spacious cabin with floor-to-ceiling windows will provide passengers with incredible views and natural light.

An all-electric Airlander producing zero emissions will be available by 2030.

In a February 7 press release, Tom Grundy, CEO of HAV said, “We’re at an exciting juncture as we’re currently working to launch the certification and production of Airlander in South Yorkshire and we’re thrilled to be working closely with established partners that are helping to make Airlander 10’s foray into market a reality.”

“We are honoured to be selected by HAV as the interiors partners for this project,” said Keiron McNeill, Managing Director at JETMS Completions in the same statement. “This is one of the most exceptional JETMS’ projects in terms of interiors and a new valuable partnership with HAV. The Airlander 10 Luxury and Tourism cabin interior will take luxury travel to a new level. With its ability to land on any flat surface, it can give passengers a truly extraordinary experience — from Greenland to the North Pole.”
