GMI Aero and Singapore Airlines EC celebrate 30-year partnership

By Jane Hobson

GMI Aero honored its 30-year anniversary of continuous creative cooperation with Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC) at a ceremony hosted by the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) within the frame of the Singapore Air Show 2020.

Throughout the partnership, GMI Aero has been providing SIAEC with innovative composite repair equipment and solutions. Starting in the ‘90s with the establishment of the SIAEC composite repair workshop, as the first aircraft with composite parts entered into service, this cooperation has now been extended to the introduction of breakthrough solutions like AdaptHEAT, ANITA 4.0 & Remote Control Tablets and A3250 radome heating blankets, to support extensive repairs of all-composite aircraft like A350 and 787.

“GMI Aero remains committed to efficiently support SIAEC composite repair operations, in cooperation with its local representative Melchers Aviation Services,” reads the press release from GMI Aero.
